Face Fillers

  • Facial fillers are one of the most popular non-surgical aesthetic treatments available today. They are injectable substances used to restore lost volume, smooth fine lines, contour facial features, and enhance overall balance in the face. Whether you’re looking to fill under-eye hollows, lift your cheeks, sharpen your jawline, or subtly enhance your lips, fillers offer a versatile and minimally invasive solution with little to no downtime. Different types of fillers suit different purposes, and the choice of product should depend on your unique anatomy, aesthetic goals, and how long you want the effects to last.

    • Hyaluronic Acid Fillers (HA Fillers)

These are the most common types of fillers used worldwide. HA is a naturally occurring substance in the body that attracts water and adds hydration and volume to the skin.

    • Calcium Hydroxylapatite Fillers (Radiesse)

A thicker, longer-lasting filler ideal for deep folds and facial contouring.

    • Poly-L-lactic Acid Fillers (Sculptra)

A biostimulatory filler that works gradually by stimulating your body to produce collagen over time.

    • Polymethylmethacrylate Fillers (Bellafill)

A semi-permanent filler used for long-lasting results in deep lines and scars.

  • You may be a candidate if you:

    • You have mild to moderate wrinkles, volume loss, or asymmetry

    • You want a non-surgical, low-downtime facial enhancement

    • You desire more definition in areas like the nose, lips, chin, or jawline

    • You’re generally healthy and not pregnant or breastfeeding

    • You have realistic expectations and want natural-looking results

    • You are not allergic to any filler components

    • Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E, and fish oil for at least 5 days before treatment to minimize bruising

    • Avoid alcohol for 24–48 hours before treatment

    • Inform your practitioner if you have a history of cold sores, especially for lip fillers

    • Do not wear makeup to your appointment if possible

    • Have a clear idea of the areas you want treated and discuss thoroughly with your injector

    • For Sculptra, you may need more than one session spaced a few weeks apart

    • Mild swelling, redness, and bruising are common and usually subside within a few days

    • Avoid touching, rubbing, or massaging the area for at least 24–48 hours (unless instructed to massage, as in the case of Sculptra)

    • Sleep on your back with your head elevated for the first night

    • Avoid intense exercise, heat (saunas, hot yoga), and alcohol for 48 hours

    • Do not get facials, skin lasers, or dental work for 1–2 weeks post-filler

    • Results are typically visible immediately for HA fillers, but full settling may take 1–2 weeks

    • Follow-up touch-ups or additional syringes may be required for optimal results

    • For biostimulatory fillers like Sculptra, effects will build over time
